Hi guys, this was taken during the semi finals of Junk Kouture in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Dublin. Junk Kouture is a national competition in Ireland where you have to make a dress/outfit/ etc.. out of recyclable materials.

We got through to the Finals, Yay! We are up against 79 other contestants and we badly need votes as they account for 1/4 of the points. Some people have 3000 votes already, and we barely have 60 I honestly don't know how people are doing it but if you could help us and vote everyday till friday it would be a great help

The bodice of the piece has been crafted from license plates. The skirt part of the outfit has been carefully constructed from car seat belts, with a hem line made from the rubber sealing of car doors and colourful wires. The main piece is created out of many windshield wipers attached to the back of the model. The materials for this outfit have been sourced from car breakers in our locality.
